The sienna bus driver was shot dead by the suspected kidnappers while trying to manoeuvre his way out of the attack.

Five persons have been abducted and a commercial driver killed at Onigaari shortly after the toll gate.

According to reports, the victims were kidnapped on Friday night, January 7.

According to reports, six passengers boarded an eight-seater Toyota Sienna bus with registration number MUS 493 HH in Ibadan en-route Lagos.

The armed kidnappers suddenly jumped out of a nearby bush and started shooting sporadically in the presence of other motorists.

The sienna bus driver, Oluwatosin Aruwajoye, was shot dead by the suspected kidnappers while trying to manoeuvre his way out of the attack.

A passenger was said to have been shot on his knee and was later taken to an undisclosed hospital for medical attention.

The family of one of the kidnapped victims has been contacted and a huge ransom has been requested by the kidnappers.
