Gunmen kill two siblings in Taraba

Unknown gunmen have killed two siblings in Divoh village, Ardo Kola Local Government Area of Taraba State. 

The victims, Amos Yazang Balawen, 47, and his younger sister, Blessing Nyenti Balawen, 29, were laid to rest on Sunday, September 9, 2023.

According to reports, the gunmen invaded their house on Thursday, September 7, 2023, and shot them dead.

Member representing Ardo-kola Constituency, Hon. Happy J. Shonruba, who confirmed the incident, condoled with the victim’s family. 

“Accept our deepest heartfelt condolences please, people Ardo-kola ( Divoh in specific) over the Loss of our beloved brother and sister. May God comfort the family and give us the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss. Adieu beloved brother and sister,” he stated in a Facebook post.
