Arsenal are preparing to open talks with defender Kieran Tierney over a new contract, according to Football.London.

Tierney still has three years left on his existing deal but the Gunners are keen to reward the Scotland international for a string of impressive performances since joining from Celtic in 2019.

The north London club are also confident academy graduate Emile Smith Rowe will sign fresh terms, though he isn’t close to putting pen-to-paper as yet.
