“He asked her to pack”- Woman who claims to know Peggy Ovire for 22 over speaks on her marriage

A woman who claims to have known Peggy Ovire for over 22 years has spoken out about the actress’s marriage to Frederick Leonard.

‎It would be recalled that in December 2025, Stanley Ontop, a Nollywood producer, claimed that Peggy Ovire and Frederick Leonard’s marriage was forced and had ended long ago, citing mutual violence as a reason.

He alleged that Peggy played a. significant role in building Frederick’s career and warned women against investing too much in men who might disappoint them.

However, the swirling rumors remain unconfirmed.

Woman breaks silence on Peggy Ovire’s marriage

‎In a video posted to her Instagram account, @Rita4delta alleged that Peggy Ovire’s marriage to Frederick Leonard had crashed.

‎ According to her, Frederick Leonard instructed Peggy Ovire to leave his house in the middle of last year, which she kept private from social media.

‎ Furthermore , the woman claimed that Frederick Leonard reached out to Nollywood producers, advising them not to work with Peggy Ovire.

‎”Why the bitterness?.You killed her self esteem. Let her be, you too enjoy your life. The same Peggy Nollywood people can testify to”, She said.

Notably, Peggy Ovire and Frederick Leonard tied the knot on November 17, 2016, in Delta State, attended by prominent figures and dignitaries.
