“He told her”- Woman thrown out of husband’s house after using children’s school fees for betting

A Nigerian mother has gone viral online after being thrown out of her husband’s house for using her children’s school fees to play betting.

‎The heartbreaking incident was shared by @Tope-Orus, a user on the microblogging platform, X (formerly Twitter).

‎Woman Thrown Out Of Husband’s House

According to the X user, the woman’s husband handed over N80,000 to her for payment of their children’s school fees, which she used for betting.

‎After losing the money, she kept mute until the children were sent home from school over non-payment of fees.

‎”She had lost, she became confused and didn’t know what to do. Instead of telling her husband the truth, she kept it to herself until the children were sent home from school”, The tweet reads.

Husband Discovers Wife’s Act .

‎However, the husband discovered the wife’s act and told her to pack out of the house, but her excuses fell on deaf ears.

‎”When her husband eventually found out, he did not beat her. Instead, he told her to pack her belongings and leave the house. She tried to explain that she had been winning before and that this loss was just a mistake, but the husband insisted that if he returned home and found her there, it would not end well. Now, the children are at home and not attending school”, The tweet reads.
