Daily Post reports that the palace of Aseyin of Iseyin in Oyo State is under heavy security.

This is as the kingmakers elect a new monarch today.

The monarch joined his ancestors on 24 July 2022.

Since the demise of the traditional ruler, the town has yet to have a new king.

Daily Post correspondent learnt that security personnel are currently at the palace to avoid a breakdown of law and order.
