The Economic and financial crimes commission has explained why the arrested Ekiti State’s commissioner for finance and accountant general hours after Governor Ayo Fayose’s declared his Presidential ambition and has countered it as a political move as widely believed.In a tweet, the agency wrote;

‘In order for them to explain their roles in petition regarding Ekiti bailout fund EFCC has picked up the state’s Acct. Gen & Comm of Finance’.
