Hoodlums invade and destroy Palm City Estate in Lagos

Hoodlums have invaded and vandalised Palm City Estate in the Ajah area of Lagos State, causing panic among residents.

According to a report by Africa Independent Television (AIT), the attackers claimed they were acting on the orders of a traditional ruler. Eyewitnesses said the group stormed the estate while invoking the names of Obas as they carried out the destruction, heightening fear and confusion within the community.

As of the time of filing this report, the claim that the attackers were sent by any traditional ruler could not be independently verified.
