A Nigerian politician, Sam Hart has shared the story how a House of Representatives aspirant in 2019 almost had a stroke after party delegates failed him.

Hart mentioned that the aspirant had gotten assurances from delegates that they would vote for him during the primaries but they failed to.
 
According to him, the aspirant eventually got a mere 14 votes out of 326 that assured him.
