A Nigerian man identified as Azeez Kuforiji is currently cooling off in police detention.

The man was arrested and detained for alleged assault on his ex-girlfriend, Soliat.

It was gathered that the suspect on Tuesday, October 12, visited the victim who is a shop attendant at her office in Arepo, Ogun State, and attacked her for not answering his phone calls.

“He has been beating her before now but she never reported. Azeez paid her an unfriendly visit two days ago and beat her mercilessly for ignoring his calls. He then proceeded to use his teeth to cut off her fingers.

“The case was reported at Wawa police station and he was arrested while Soliat was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. However, they’re threatening the victim to withdraw the case,” a source said
