“I didn’t know the cost but I asked for help” — Blessing CEO answer questions on surgery funds during IG live with Daddy Freeze

An Instagram live session featuring Blessing CEO, Daddy Freeze, and a lawyer has stirred reactions online after a tense exchange over her request for financial support.

During the conversation, Blessing CEO explained that she discovered a lump in July last year and was later told in early January that it was cancerous. She said she began preparing for a mastectomy to determine how far the condition had spread.

However, when asked about the cost of the surgery, she admitted she did not have a specific amount. This led the lawyer to question why she had already asked the public for financial contributions without clear medical or financial details.

In response, Blessing CEO maintained that she needed money for the surgery, explaining that she was trying to plan ahead due to the uncertainty surrounding treatment, including possible additional procedures and therapy. She also clarified that she did not state a fixed amount when asking for help.

During the session, Daddy Freeze revealed that he had earlier advised her to seek further testing in Lagos, noting the importance of confirming her diagnosis before proceeding with major surgery.
