“I don’t have ₦30,000” — Nigerian lecturer shares financial struggles

A Nigerian doctor and university lecturer has opened up about his financial hardship, revealing that he currently does not have ₦30,000 to his name.

In a candid statement shared online, the lecturer said that he is flat out broke with almost nothing to feed his family.

The academic disclosed that he does not have ₦30,000 either in his bank account or in cash, and recently had to sell his car battery to provide food for his family.

His situation has drawn attention online, with many expressing surprise that a professional couldn’t earn enough to take care of his family.

His words…

“I am a Dr and lecturer but walahi, I don’t have 30,000. Not in the bank and not in my pocket. I had to sell the battery of my car to be able to feed my family 3 days ago”.
