“I got into….”- Landlord cries out as tenant reportedly damages 10 ceilings after ₦100k caution payment fee

A landlord has cried out after his tenant reportedly damaged 10 ceilings after paying ₦100k caution fee.

‎The incident occurred after the tenant demanded a refund of the ₦100k caution fee, which the landlord insisted was non-refundable.

‎Tenant Reportedly Damages 10 Ceilings

‎The incident was shared on the Facebook page of People’s Parliament.

Prior to the incident, the landlord showed the tenant an agreement form he signed, stating the caution fee was non-refundable.

Subsequently, during an inspection of the tenant’s apartment the following day, two ceilings were damaged in the sitting room, one in the room, two in the toilet, and two in the kitchen.

Because my tenant asked for refund of his caution fee of N100k and i told him clearly that it’s non refundable and showed him where it is written in the tenancy agreement form he signed to

Atanda, i got into the apartment this morning to inspect it.

This tenant damaged 10 ceiling, two in the parlour, one in each room, two in the toilet and two in the kitchen.
