Nollywood actress, Annie Macaulay, on Sunday, September 7, reshared an interesting post on Instagram many believe reflects her marital journey and recent separation from music icon Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia.

The post which was originally posted by an Instagram user, reads

”I hope my daughter doesn’t accept things I’ve accepted, that she knows her worth from the start and that no matter what, she always has me in her corner.”

The post quickly drew attention, with fans interpreting it as an indirect reflection of the struggles she endured in her marriage.

In January this year, 2Face announced that himself and Annie were separating. He has since remarried.
