It has been revealed that a day before a Botswana Defence Defence Force (BDF) member killed his sidechic, he had taken to Facebook to make a controversial post.
He posted that if it cost you your peace, then it’s took expensive.
He made the post the day he allegedly killed his wife, Bogolo Sepopa and a female soldier, Same Moapare, who is alleged to be his side chick.
Recall that Captain Mogomo Sepopa, 35, appeared before the Extension II Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday morning, July 19, 2023, and was remanded in the Botswana Police Service custody.
He was formally charged with two counts of murder in the incident that sent shockwaves across Botswana on Monday, July 17.
He allegedly shot and killed the two women on Sunday, July 16, 2023, kept their bodies overnight in their home at the Village Garrison in Gaborone, and held two other persons hostage.
Following dramatic negotiation involving other security agencies spanning for over 20 hours, the man finally surrendered.
The soldier had shared a quote on Facebook at 6:33 pm on Sunday, July 16, which reads: “If it costs you your peace, it is too expensive”
In another post, he wrote: “Close to the lord, laugh at the wesele”
Meanwhile, his wife, Bogolo, had shared a photo of them together on Tuesday, July 11, a few days before the incident.
She also celebrated their one month wedding anniversary on May 28, 2023.
