Ilebaye reveals connection to Cowrie Shells; says they were for her late Brother(video)

The winner of the Big Brother Naija All Stars show, Ilebaye Odiniya opens up on the reason behind her interactions with the cowrie shells she brought into Biggie’s House during the show.

The model, originally from Kogi, made this known during an appearance on Pulse’s One On One, hosted by another reality star, Christy O.

Ilebaye revealed that she carries and speaks with the cowrie shells as a way to keep the memory of her late brother alive.

“There is a claim online where CeeC was saying that you had cowries that you were talking to. Can you tell me more about it?” Christy O asked.

In response, Ilebaye said;

“I had something precious to me. Because obviously, you are supposed to have something precious when you’re doing something that you miss at home.

“And the cowries were for my late brother. It has been with me and even the baton. I have a baton on him too. I didn’t know where to keep it. I was just like, Oh! Let me hold something strong.

“It just helps me feel like he [my late brother] is around. He is still with me,” she added.
