Injured Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has left the Benin City camp of the national team to return to his Serie A side, Napoli.

FCNaija gathered that Osimhen left the camp on Sunday to head back to Naples where he would be receiving the best of treatment for his reported dislocated shoulder.

Earlier FCNaija reported that Napoli chieftain, De Laurentiis was said to be worried about the player’s condition after it was discovered that the former Lille striker had a slight dislocation in the shoulder.

But manager Genarro Gattuso and De Laurentiis were relieved after an X-ray gave a negative result, which revealed that the injury is nothing but a light blunt trauma to the arm.Recall Osimhen was forced to leave the pitch in the 74th minute due to an injury after scoring one of the goals against Sierra Leone in Benin City.

Nigerians were left stunned after the national team, Super Eagles drew 4-4 with Sierra Leone despite taking a comfortable 4-0 lead.
