I’ve Changed My Mind About Remarriage – Singer, Gt Da Guitarman Says

Olugbemiro Tokunbo, a popular Nigerian singer, who is also known as Gt Da Guitarman, has talked about remarriage.

He took to social media some time ago to state that he was never going to remarry after the crash of his first marriage.

However, in an interview with Saturday Beats, the singer changed his position on the issue.

He said, “I would be happy (to find love again). Also, I am wiser now. I think it is only an unwise person that would say they don’t want love. If one does not want love, what does one then want— hate? 

“Love is a beautiful thing. Closing their hearts to love might be the cause of the misery of many people who are going through tough times. It is wrong to have the mentality that one does not want love.”

The singer also stated that he was working towards getting back into the music space with his new sound titled, ‘Elody’.

He said, “I have been working hard on my Extended Play album, and it has been quite a journey. I have been fortunate to work with amazing producers who helped me to bring out my other sides that people have not seen. 

“We have not decided on the songs that will eventually make it to the album, but we have recorded quite a number of songs. It is a thing of pride to know that some of the ‘boys’ who one grew up with have become global icons. 

“With the likes of Burna Boy, Wizkid Davido, Asake and Olamide (making waves), I have been looking for ways to penetrate the space, and connect to the hearts of people through afrobeats.
