Sports Brief earlier reported that Jose Poseiro has promised to work with great ambition to restore Nigeria back to its glory days in football after his appointment as the Super Eagles manager was confirmed.
The Nigeria Football Federation had on Sunday, May 15 announced the Portuguese manager as the new head coach of the Super Eagles, replacing Augustine Eguavoen who had been relieved of the position.
Poseiro in a post on social media app Twitter, the 62-year-old expressed pride in being appointed as Nigeria’s coach and vowed to make the Super Eagles champions again.
