#JusticeForMakgotso: Presbyterian Pastor reportedly beats wife to death in South Africa

The hashtag, #JusticeForMakgotso trending on X is a sad one as peopla calls for justice for one Mrs Makgotso Sindiswa Khoza who passed away on Friday, 20 October 2023.

Makgotso was married to Bongani Khoza, a pastor at Evangelical Presbyterian Church in the East Rand branch. Makgotso had allegedly been enduring abuse from her husband for years.

The church was allegedly aware that Makgotso was hospitalised 3 weeks back, but did not inform her family.

Some photos were shared of her with a brutalized face and red pulped eyes.

How many more women will suffer in Silence? Emotional abuse, physical abuse are a torture. My Lil sis came back home only for 5 months and still she was suffering inner bruises. Rekgalemetse! But it seems she was too deep to walk away.. Her Asthma was worse when she came back, she couldn’t sleep without a support of pillows. R.I.P Matso
