Juventus came from a goal down to win Lyon 2-1, despite a brace from Ronaldo, the Serie A Champions bow out of the Champions League, following a 2-2 aggregate.

Juventus suffered an early goal after Rodrigo Bentancur committed a clumsy foul against a Lyon player and referee Felix Zwayer pointed to the spot-kick for a penalty for Lyon.

Memphis Depay made no mistake from the spot to put the visitors ahead.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored from the penalty spot to equalize for Juventus in the 44th minute of the encounter to make it 1-1 before the end of the opening 45 minutes of the game.

Juventus kept probing for the second goal with Lyon holding off the Italian Champions but the home team was able to get the second goal via Ronaldo to make it 2-1.

With the result, Juventus will continue to search for their Champions League title.
