Major business along the Ungwan Pama area and Medical Health care facility especially the Sabon Tasha General Hospital has been abandoned by Kaduna Electric. The years of negligence has caused untold hardship to the people of the environs.

A Medical doctor at the Sabo General hospital decried the state of the power supply which has caused a lot of burden to the health facility. The follow up was moved to the Sabo Market at Ungwan Pama where traders were removed from the market and moved at a temporary base close to the roadside continue to wallow in agony against the state of Power and the slow progress in completing the market. From the Sabo busstop down to Demonstration School and Fezon International School, there is no power supply. The transformer that serves the market has been a subject to controversy as traders contributed for a new transformer but were shortchanged by staff of Kaduna Electric. The bad progress become worse as they were listed among Band E.

For the Ungwan Pama, Sabo Market axis and Sabo General Hospital, they have made demands for Band B in order to carry out public service functions. The Market union also demands that a new transformer be installed since the old transformer continue to breakdown.

The head of department at Kaduna Electric has maintained that progress will be made in regards to the abysmal power distribution given to that axis as maintenance staff have been sent to work on upgrade.
