Nigerian comedian, Efe Warri Boy has stated that g*ys and l*sbians should desist from announcing their sexual preference and remain in the closet to avoid backlash.

He said the challenge is that they “shine too much light on these things”, hence the persecution they face from society.

 He added that straight people don’t announce their sexuality. He then questioned why gay people should announce theirs.

He said this in reaction to popular lesbian Amara clashing with her mother over her sexuality.

“Na you choose am. Go ahead and live the life,” he wrote, adding “All this coming out of the closet idea is the problem. Those of us who are straight don’t announce it when we want to start having s3x.”
