
The Royal family hosted Nigerians in the Diaspora in the UK to a reception ahead of Nigeria’s Presidemt Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s visit to the UK.
King Charles hosted the reception last night, March 11, at St. James’s Palace.
Sharing photos from the event, the royal family wrote on Instagram today, March 12: “Last night, The King hosted a reception with members of the Nigerian Diaspora in the UK, ahead of the incoming State Visit of the President of Nigeria.
“With jollof rice and music by Dele Sosimi and the Afrobeats Orchestra- it was a wonderful evening. Thank you to everyone who joined us!”
Tinubu is expected to begin his state visit to the UK in the company of his wife Oluremi Tinubu on Wednesday, March 18, with a reception at Windsor Castle.
