Kiss cam catches new ‘cheating couple’ on big screen in awkward repeat of Coldplay duo (video)

A couple suspected to be “cheating” have drawn comparisons to the viral Coldplay lovers after they were caught dramatically trying to hide from a kiss cam. 

The pair were left looking embarrassed on camera after they appeared on the big screen during a Liga MX – Mexican football league – match between San Luis and Querétaro at Alfonso Lastras Stadium in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, on Valentine’s Day, February 14. They were seen desperately attempting to dodge the attention on them. 

The footage shows the man doing a 180-degree spin to face away from the cameras, while the woman beside him ducks her chin into her chest, using her cap’s visor to cover her face. She then wags her finger as if to say “no”. 

The shocked duo’s quick moves prompted a jeering reaction from the crowd, with fellow spectators appearing to egg on the couple after they were shown on the big screen. 

The clip quickly went viral on social media, prompting immediate comparisons to the embarrassing kiss cam moment at a Coldplay concert in Boston, the US.
