“He did the same thing for Babcock in 2018, na Teni later come perform,” another fan recalled. Some also referenced his 2022 no-show in Tanzania, which nearly led to legal action.

Critics have questioned the artist’s reliability, calling on show organisers to reconsider future bookings. “You collect money, no come stage. Who does that?” 

For many fans, the incident has deepened frustration toward one of Afrobeats’ biggest stars, raising renewed concerns about professionalism and respect for loyal supporters.
