Rabiu Kwankwaso has praised God after his party won the Kano governorship election.

The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) reacted on his Twitter page.

Recall that the governorship candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Abba Kabir Yusuf, was declared the winner of the Kano state governorship election.

Yusuf defeated all other candidates including the incumbent deputy governor, Nasiru Gawuna who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the election.

The results announced by the returning officer in Kano, Ahmad Dokko Ibrahim are displayed below.

NNPP: 1,019,602

APC: 890,705

PDP: 15,957

LP: 5,409
