Lady In Tears As Landlord Evicts Her After Spending Thousands On Renovation

A Nigerian lady has been left devastated after her landlord served ‘hot breakfast’ as he evicts her and other tenants.

The lady’s eviction notice came after she had spent thousands of naira on the renovation of the apartment. According to the eviction letter, the incident took place in Edo state.

The eviction notice was served on the 20th of January, 2023. In a viral video shared by the lady, she likened her hurt to that which could be felt during a heartbreak.

“If you think heartbreak is painful, read the last paper”, she wrote on TikTok. Her post caused a couple of social media users to opine that renovation of a rented apartment should never be an option.
