Lady Laments As POS Operator Gives Customer Dyed Old 1000 Naira Notes As New Note

A lady has lamented after a POS operator gave a customer dyed old 1,000 Naira notes as new note.

This is as new naira scarcity continues across the country.

It was gathered that the POS operator was trying to pass it off as the new notes.

In a video shared online, the lady is heard telling the customer to take his child who brought the money and return to the POS operator who issued the old dyed notes.

The CBN has stopped the use of old notes as legal tenders. Sadly, the new notes which are acceptable legal tenders are not available.
