Lady recounts date experience with man who shared a cup of ice cream with her

A young Nigerian lady shares her first date experience with a man who was disrespectful, stingy and lacked basic courtesy for a woman.

In her post, the X user @symplydivine described how the man she went out with argued over the cost of a Bolt ride, and shared a single cup of ice cream with her.

To make matters worse, he proposed they continue the date at his place to “watch Netflix and chill“, indirectly suggesting they should get intimate.

According to the lady, she couldn’t believe her eyes every second she saw a new red flag about the man, causing her to block him when he requested for a second date.

My horrible date experience

“I went on a terrible date yesterday he didn’t just argue about the bolt prices with me, he made us share a single cup of ice-cream 😭. after the date, he proposed that we go over to his place to watch Netflix i refused and he said “what’s the worst that could happen, it’s just sex & we’re adults”. 

“I almost threw up, the audacity that men have !! 😭😭. he still had the audacity to ask for another date today, i blocked him o 😭✋🏽 i initially thought he got the ice-cream for me cause the girl at the counter asked him if he’s placing an order for another cup, i heard him saying “no, he has eaten too much sugary stuff”.

“We got back to our table & i began eating, but then i saw him grab another spoon 😭😭. i honestly don’t blame girls that ask for money for outfits and all because i looked too good on that date and see what happened 😭 he even called me “big madam” omo 😞.

“I left it, they were already closing up so i couldn’t get another cup, my only mistake was not walking away till he proposed “going over to his place to complete the date.” he argued the bolt prices when i got home. he was supposed to refund me for the rides i think i was giving him benefit of doubt cause i couldn’t believe my eyes 😭.”
