Athletic Club forward, Inaki Williams has chosen to play for his parents country Ghana instead after failing to get called up from Spain

Inaki will be playing in the forthcoming World Cup in Qatar with Ghana

The Bilbao-born striker made the decision at the beginning of the summer and spoke to Marca about it on Friday.

“The president of the Ghanaian federation is the one who pushed hardest for me to be there,” he said.

“Trains only run once and I got on this one, which has more good than bad.

“The decision has been mature and consensual with my family.”
