The Lagos State Government has begun massive highway reconstruction across the state now that the rainy season is here even though there still needs lot to be done in this regards, but we still have to commend them by starting the work they are meant to do. Also, we noticed that the state government has also contracted the covering of all holes around the metropolis. Manholes are usually left open by Lagos State officials after clearing the drainage, they refused to cover these holes back which cause lots of damages, accident to road users.

Starting from Marina in Lagos Island, Victoria Island, 3rd Mainland Bridge, the team are using the composite manhole covers, what makes this unique is that it’s not susceptible to theft unlike the others that they open and carry away either by the workers or by the public.
