Lionel Messi caused a stir when he showed up to the Argentina camp with an expensive designer outfit worth a total of £7000.

The Argentine captain joined up with the rest of his teammates on international duty as the La Albiceleste prepare to tackle Venezuela and Ecuador in the World Cup qualifiers.

According to a report via the Mirror, Messi’s sweater costs £371, and are paired with £492 jeans and £542 shoes with extra luggage containing a backpack worth £2,417 and a suitcase that costs £3,250.

Lionel Messi arrived at the Argentine camp in Buenos Aires alongside club mates Angel Di Maria and Leandro Parades.

Argentina has already qualified for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar with the PSG star hoping to lift the only trophy missing from his cabinet when the tournament begins in November 2022.
