Galatasaray will open talks over a move for Liverpool star Shaqiri when football resumes, and are willing to pay the Swiss attacker’s asking price which is said to be around £18M, according to Turkish media Fotomac.

Shaqiri has only scored one goal in 7 games for Liverpool in all competitions, and his contract with Liverpool will expire in 2023.

As a 28-year-old, versatile, international-class attacker, Shaqiri is probably to be the subject of much speculation in the summer months.

The right offer could lead to a parting of the ways.
