A farmer, Mr. Eric Olowokande has killed his wife, Mojere with a deadly blow. TheNation reported that the incident happened at Yaba street in Idanre, Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo State. 

Witnesses said Eric had a quarrel with his wife during which he hit her hard. 

The wife was said to have fallen down and rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead. 

Her death made her husband fled to evade arrest. The remains of the deceased has been deposited at General Hospital, Idanre. Ondo Police spokesman, ASP Tee-Leo Ikoro, confirmed the incident and said the husband has been arrested. 

He said investigation has commenced into the killing.
