For the first time in over 50 days, Zinedine Zidane will oversee a Real Madrid training session with the squad returning to Valdebebas next Monday.
The spread of the Covid-19 pandemic brought a halt to Spanish football on March 12 with Real Madrid players and back room staff on lockdown since the Spanish government declared a state of alarm in a bid to stem the virus from escalating at the time.
In that time period, first team players have been carrying out fitness regimes from their respective homes in a bid to maintain optimum fitness with the likes of injured Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio, benefiting from the halt in activity to recover from their injuries.
With the LaLiga campaign now set to resume in mid to late June, Real Madrid have confirmed that the first training session in 57 days will take place on Monday, 11 May with a behind closed doors session at the Valdebebas complex with the activity scheduled for a 10:00 (CEST) start.
