Former Creek Road now renamed Patience Jonathan road was today commissioned by Prince Uche Secondus, the National Chairman of the PDP.

The commisioning of Creek Road was a most befitting start to the over 30 projects set to be commisioned to mark the third year anniversary of the Nyesom Wike led administration in Rivers State.

The road is a signature step in the urban  renewal plans by Governor Wike for the Old Port Harcourt Township area. Speaking on his plans for the area, Governor Nyesom Ezenwo mentioned that Julius Berger has been mandated to ensure the rehabilitation of all roads in the area.

The event also saw the decamping of members of the APC to the PDP.
