‘Mama Put’ Causes Fire Outbreak In Enugu Park, Bus Burnt

There was fire outbreak in a bus park belonging to Sunny Bright Mass Transit located Opposite Ogbete Main Market in Enugu.

News9naija present at the scene, gathered that the fire outbreak started from an open flame of a cooking stand (popular called mama put) in the Park.

All efforts made to extinguish the fire failed as fire extinguishers were out of sight.

Although some brave boys present at the scene made efforts to put out the flame, theor efforts yielded no results as the bus was razed to ashes.

Other buses were quickly driven out of the park.

Passengers we’re about boarding the bus before it got engulfed in flames. Only luggages and the Toyota hiace bus were destroyed.

Upon being accustomed, he ran into Ifesinachi Plaza but was caught and beaten.

Quick intervention of the police saved him from being lynched by irate mob.
