Man admits having sex with a Shetland pony horse after breaking into farm to carry out the abuse

A man has admitted having sex with a Shetland pony after trespassing into a stables in Wiltshire. 

Damion Ogeare, 43, pleaded guilty to penetrating a female animal and trespassing with intent to commit a sexual offence.

The 43-year-old appeared at Salisbury Crown Court today where he admitted one count of sexual penetration with a living animal.

Ogeare also pleaded guilty to trespassing with intent to commit a sexual offence.

The court was told Ogeare was seen trespassing on the farm on January 24 last year.

He then broke into a stable containing two Shetland ponies and having sex with a mare called Cassieopia Wooley. The defendant then left the farm around ten minutes later.

Police were called to the scene when the pony’s owner saw a man entering the stable on CCTV.

Officers managed to catch Ogeare and identify him using DNA.

The friend has been released on bail for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
