Man claims car he bid ₦4.5 million for disappears from EFCC auction site

A Nigerian man has expressed frustration online after a car he bid on for ₦4.5 million on the EFCC website mysteriously disappeared, with his details allegedly wiped from the site.

In a post shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the man accused the EFCC of foul play.

Additionally, his details had been erased.

He further claimed that the auction was won by a bidder who did not participate in the bidding process.

He stated: “I bid for a Toyota Camry on USBU-A and won the auction, but when I checked this morning, my details had been removed from the site. It was another bidder who didn’t even participate in the auction that was listed as the winner.”
