A Nigerian man has expressed frustration over the poor quality of water flowing from the taps in his Lekki residence, despite paying ₦2 million in rent and ₦350,000 annually as a service charge.
The man shared his experience in a video posted on TikTok, where he lamented the state of the water, which he described as having the appearance of tea.
In the video, he said, “Look at this house, look at the water. This is a house where someone pays ₦2 million in rent and ₦350,000 as service charge every year. I just hope this is tea so I can buy bread and drink it.”
He voiced his disappointment, questioning the justification for such exorbitant payments when the water quality in the house was so poor.
The post sparked reactions online as concerned individuals took to the comment section to share their thoughts, with many criticizing the situation and empathizing with the man.
