A Nigerian man laments after someone poisoned his dog‘s food through an open window, mistaking it for his.

Tragically, the dog passed away after consuming the poisoned meal.

This was revealed in a post shared on the popular social media platform, X, formerly known as Twitter.

The post, shared online by friends of the affected individual, detailed the incident and how the unknown person carried out the act.

They explained that the perpetrator poisoned the food through the window, thinking it was intended for the owner.

Unaware that the meal was meant for the dog, the pet sadly passed away after eating it.

The statement read: “Someone poisoned a meal meant for dogs in my friend’s kitchen. Apparently, the person thought it was for a human because it was placed in a neat plate and was a well-cooked meal. One of the dogs ate the food and died last night.”
