Man On Trial For Stealing N227,945 From Gov Ajimobi’s Wife

The Police arraigned a 24-year-old man before an Iyaganku Senior Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday for allegedly disappearing with sales money from the shop of the wife of Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State.
Afeez Ajibola of 22 Oke-Bola, Ogunpa Road, Ibadan, was arraigned on a two-count bordering on stealing.

The Police Prosecutor, Cpl. Kola Olaiya told the court that Ajibola, on November 25, at about 9 a.m. at Grandex Stores, Palm Màll, Ring road, Ibadan, allegedly made away with the sum of N227,945.

Ajibola was also alleged to have stolen one black wallet valued at N3,000 and one key ring holder valued N2,500.
