A concerned Nigerian took to social media to raise alarm of a road being allegedly constructed with inferior materials in Edo state.

In the video he shared, the man said the road which is being constructed at Igarra in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of Edo State has a drainage system without rods and which stopped halfway.

The man who went on to show that the road is of poor quality by removing the asphalt with his hands, averred that idioms like “half bread is better than none” is what has kept the country in its sad state.

He maintained that it is better that people do things rightly than going on with a project with poor quality, while also recounting how he ensured that his community got one of the best roads in Edo state while participating in its construction.
