Man recounts police assault after showing his ID and requesting officer’s

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to recount a shocking encounter with a police officer that left him humiliated and infuriated.

The incident occurred after he asked the officer to present an ID card, having already shown his own.

In a post shared on his X (formerly Twitter) page, the man revealed that instead of complying with his request, the officer slapped him in front of his office.

He was subsequently forced into a police van and abandoned a short distance from his workplace after being dispossessed of all his belongings.

Expressing his anger and frustration, the man cursed the officer’s children, condemning the treatment he received.

His post read: 

“A police officer slapped me in front of my office because I asked for their ID after showing them mine. They bundled me into a Siena and dropped me a short distance from my office after taking everything I had. Well, the officer who slapped me, if he has 10 children, he will bury all of them.”

He continued: “He will use his hands to bury all his children and wife. That hand he used to slap me will bury them all.”

The man’s story sparked widespread reactions, with concerned individuals flooding the comment section to share their thoughts on the troubling incident.
