Man seeks $100k presidential reward for nephew with 366 in JAMB, nine A1s in WAEC

A Nigerian man has appealed to President Bola Tinubu to reward his nephew, Uthman Mustapha Olasubomi, who scored 366 in JAMB and earned A1 in all nine WAEC subjects, with $100,000.

The appeal was made in a post on X (formerly Twitter) by user @sama_on_point, who shared a snapshot of the results while praising his nephew.

He wrote: “Hello folks, this is my nephew’s (Uthman Mustapha Olasubomi) result. Albert Einstein is a learner! 🙌”

“Scholarship plugs, kindly show my nephew some love! 🙏 @officialABAT, can my boy get some spare $100,000 from you? 😎”

“Congratulations Mustapha for making the family proud! 👏”

The man also urged those with scholarship opportunities to assist with his nephew’s education, drawing parallels to how Tinubu rewarded Super Falcons players after their AFCON final performance.

The post has since attracted widespread attention, with many Nigerians taking to the comments to share their views.
