Man shocked to discover second and third children aren’t his despite marrying a virgin

A Nigerian man was left in shock after discovering that his second and third children are not biologically his, despite marrying his wife as a virgin.

This revelation was shared on the popular social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, where the man’s story went viral.

Through an anonymous post, he detailed his experience, expressing deep disappointment over the situation.

According to the man, he married his wife in 2014 after a two-year courtship, during which he provided for her and fulfilled all traditional marriage rites, including the bride price.

Yet, he recently discovered that his second and third children were fathered by another man.

In his words: “I greet you, Chief. I married my wife as a virgin, a real virgin. Did all the traditional rites for our marriage in 2014. I just found out that my 2nd and 3rd children aren’t mine because they’re always falling sick. I dated her for 2 years before we married, and I provided everything.”

“But she now tells me that the father of these children is an old lover from when she was young. My house is full of family now in Asaba.”

He added a cautionary note to those considering marriage: “It’s not just about marrying a virgin; marry a disciplined and reserved woman.”
