Man struggling to provide for his family marries another wife after receiving a monetary gift

A Hausa man struggling to provide for his family took a new wife after someone gave him a small monetary gift.

The story was shared by another Hausa man on X.

The narrator wrote: “This guy has a family of 3 including his wife and all he does to feed the family is nail cutting, barely feeding his family to their satisfaction. 

“A customer of him (sic) gave him a gift of 50K and his next move was getting married to another Woman. 

“Life of an average Hausa Man.”

The tweet elicited reactions, with one X user writing: “It’s a good move if you ask me. He might be struggling now but he will definitely laugh in 20 years to come when his children are grownups and doing well.”
