The latest transfer reports across Europe indicate that Manchester United are mulling a bid for Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze.

According to La Razon, United are ready to brush off other top teams like beat Real Madrid who are also reported to be in the race to sign Villarreal winger Chukwueze.

The 21-year old winger is wanted by Madrid but United view the Nigerian as the perfect alternative to signing Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.

Liverpool have also been mentioned as another possible suitor interested in the Nigerian star.

Chukwueze recently told Tribalfootball.com: “Playing in England is still an ambition for me.

“I need to keep on working hard and to keep improving. I really want to play in England. I think so.”

Chukwueze is contracted to Villareal until 2023 but it is an open secret that the Yellow Submarines will gladly let Chukwueze go if they get a fat pay-cheque for his signature.
