Manchester United has made a move to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following the 6-1 thrashing against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday in their last time out in the Premier League.
The Red Devils management has contacted Mauricio Pochettino about potentially replacing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the club manager, according to report.
Manchester United was humiliated by Spurs which has put a huge doubt on the future of Solskjaer at the Old Trafford.
Pochettino is the next man in line for Manchester United, the Argentine manager has been out of a job since 11 months ago after he was sacked by Tottenham.
The report in the Daily Star claims that Manchester United management has contacted Pochetino’s representatives over a potential move to Old Trafford to manage the Red Devils.
Pochettino guided Tottenham the Champions League finals but suffered a 2-0 defeat against fellow Premier League rivals Liverpool in June 2019.
Pochettino was relieved of his duties following a string of poor performances and was replaced by Jose Mourinho.
